circa 1950 Wittnauer SS 2-register Chronograph Screwback Mint with documented History $695 SOLD
Movement is Mint Wittnauer Case is Near Mint++ 35mm's with large round pushers original finish remaining Dial is perfect original with multi-colors and wonderfully toned luminous. This watch was owned by the Spokane Washingotn Crime Lab since the late 1950's. It was later the exhibit in a trial where the former Commissioner was accused of using it as personal property. A letter from another employee of the firm who bought the watch when it was offered as "government surplus" verifies the lineage of the watch. A rare and unusual piece!
